The most efficient form of payment is a check or money order.
It’s necessary for your check to clear before I can ship an item to you.
I use the shipping method that is, in my opinion, the “best” way to get an item to you.
Often, we ship by US mail, but sometimes UPS and Fedex are the preferred methods.
You are welcome to ask about add-ons to shipping, such as insurance, or a faster method (such as Express Mail).
I’m sorry to report that I cannot ship outside of the USA. The process has become too painful. Also, the long delays do a disservice to you.

I’m always looking for high-quality items, especially antiquarian books, militaria, paintings, china, clocks, and small collectibles. Please write me if you have good items to sell.
Note: Most items require you to provide provenance – documentation of the origin of an item.
Note: Be aware that people often attach sentimental value to an item, and that’s not useful in determining a selling price. If you have a selling price in mind please be aware of 1) what others are selling the same item for, and 2) what current market conditions are. There are some wonderful, valuable pieces, but nobody wants them.
Note: I’m sure you’ll understand that I’m not “Antiques Roadshow,” and cannot help you evaluate the worth of an item, or tell you who else might want to buy it. The best I can do is tell you what I would like to pay you, based on the authenticity of the item.
